Starting a new business is an exciting endeavor, but can take a lot of hard work. Running a business in the internet age is also much different than running a business in past decades. Entrepreneurs such as Doe Deere of Lime Crime cosmetics have thrived in today’s business market. Deere runs a completely web based cosmetic line, and has enjoyed success with her quirky brand while inspiring others to do the same.
Deere has enjoyed growing success since starting her business in 2004. She’s carved out a unique niche by providing bold and cruelty free cosmetic, nail polish and hair colors. She isn’t just an entrepreneur, but a brand ambassador who uses and rocks her products to inspire her followers to pursue their own unique look. Like other entrepreneurs of her age, she stays close to her audience and her products. Lime Crime’s website is fun, bold, and creates rapport with visitors immediately while promoting their values and products. Her business grew out of her passion, which is clearly seen in the company’s values and mission. Fortunately her passion for bold and unique colors is shared by a growing cult following, which has led to increasing success for Lime Crime. Learn more: http://doedeerefam.com/
Forming a new business is hard and requires a lot of determination, but entrepreneurs like Deere landed on success by sticking with it and responding to market trends. After starting with an ebay store in 2004, Lime Crime developed into a brand over the years. While Deere’s web based business has had it’s ups and downs, Deere has enjoyed the immediate feedback that a web-based presence allows for. She hopes to inspire both customers and other entrepreneurs with her unique style and commitment to the company’s ideals.
Lime Crime is proudly certified by PETA and the Leaping Bunny Foundation for their vegan and cruelty free products. They want to revolutionize makeup with their cruelty free process and their bold colors marketed to the bold at heart. Deere found a discouraging lack of daring colors to express herself, which is why she started her own line back in 2004. The intense colors are meant to inspire a rebellion from the norm. While Lime Crime has quite a range of products including lipsticks, nail art, hair dyes and eye shadows, Deere is excited to add more products to the line in the near future. Arthur Becker is the Managing Partner working at Madison Partners, LLC and he is becoming quickly one of our favorite and most influential real estate developers in the city of New York. Becker has come a long way over the past 15+ years as he worked his way from a Bear Stearns stockbroker into one of the heaviest hitting entrepreneurs in all of New York City. Let’s take a loser look at his meteoric ascent and the path by which Becker came to this success.
You’d have to go back to the early 2000s in order to see Arthur Becker before his first fortune. Becker was working as a stockbroker for Bear Stearns, buying and trading technology companies. It was during this time that Becker struck it big with a couple of sales. Becker would take that success and head right into the real estate market. Becker would turn to Miami and New York as his first two testing grounds for his real estate business. Becker found New York more appealing and he would turn away from Miami to focus therein. By 2011 Becker had started Madison Partners and he was the Managing Partner there.
When it comes to real estate it is all about diversifying and making sure that your investments have a chance to strike it back. So Arthur Becker started by first working right with the big hitters in New York as a quiet backer. Becker got on bored with Kevin Maloney and Michael Stearn in order to work on their Billionaires’ Row project which was located at 111 W 57th Street. Becker’s work here would get him even more work as he switch gears to work on a luxury condo development on Sullivan Street. These early projects gave Becker the momentum he needed in order to get really going.
According to The Real Deal, Arthur Becker is far more than a real estate investor, however, as he is also a huge artist. Becker’s Tribeca neighborhood studio is split directly in half, one side is focused on real estate while the other is literally an art studio. Becker’s diversity has made him successful every step of the way.

PodcastOne and Edison Research have been conducting research on the advertising on five major national consumer products on podcasts. The results, announced by Podcast One CEO Norman Pattiz, show positive improvements on podcast advertising on brand remembrance. It has shown consumers have an increased willingness to try out the products being mentioned in the audio advertising. PodcastOne is making leaps when it comes to audio broadcast which can be manipulated in advertising forums.
The survey brought to light a couple of realizations. There was a sharp incline in listeners’ mentions of a particular brand of grocery after the campaign.
The percentage of these listeners had shot from 7% to 60% after the campaign. Also, the awareness of a vehicle company for their post-market product shot up by 60% and 76% for a particular dining spot.
Surveys held before and after the campaigns proved that the audiences from podcasts were more responsive to messages by a brand and also increased willingness to purchase a product or service.
These studies held by Edison Research on behalf of PodcastOne were to show that podcast advertising had a very powerful impact and great reach to the consumers.
